~ About Montria ~

As a child and throughout her education, Montria developed a passion for weight loss from her personal experience of achieving a weight loss of 50 lbs naturally and maintaining it for over 10 years!

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Montria has served as a stroke nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, a medical case manager for ill foster children, and a nurse to postpartum mothers and newborns.

After advancing her career as a nurse practitioner, Montria developed a medical weight loss program for a large corporation prior to starting her own through Harvest! Montria has supported many individuals in losing up to 70 lbs, controlling diabetes, and coming off of blood pressure medications!

It is through Montria’s passion, uplifting spirit, and expertise that inspire confidence, motivation, and true transformation for her patients. She helps her patients lose weight and keep it off by making lifestyle changes the foundation of their journey and viewing weight loss medications as a supportive tool rather than a dependency.

Harvest is a virtual healthcare practice that provides professional, medical and lifestyle support in weight loss and weight-related conditions such as, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and elevated cholesterol.

Harvest offers weight loss medications that are used as a supplemental support to weight loss once healthy lifestyle changes are established including, Phentermine, Qsymia, Contrave, Metformin, Wegovy, and Zepbound. These medications are not guaranteed to be recommended for your personalized treatment plan.

This program involves a collaborative approach between the medical provider and the client to improve health outcomes and reduce weight re-gain. One size does not fit all. The physical, emotional, mental, social, and medical aspects of each patient are evaluated to customize the care of each client and to provide them with a lifetime of tools to promote a long, healthy life!
